Emergency Rotating Shelter

We opened our Church for a week, January 19 - 24, to welcome eighteen guests who had few other options for safe and warm housing this Winter. The Emergency Rotating Shelter is a program managed by the Harford Hope for the Homeless Alliance, and our Church volunteered to be a host for a week. This was an opportunity for many to volunteer, and to share fellowship with our guests.

Preparing dinner for guests. We serve breakfast and dinner, and pack lunches. Snacks are available as well.

Serving dinner. No one went away hungry.

Separate sleeping areas for men and women set up in the Social Room. Cots and bedding are provided by the Harford County Hope for the Homeless Alliance, the agency that leads this county-wide program.
